Wireless Harlem believes it is important to give parents the tools and information they need to feel safe about what their children read and see online. We've identified a few online sites and other programs to help in this important effort.
Google has created a great site of common sense tips that includes an introductory checklist of items and this short, but informative video:

Firefox
ProCon is a content filter for the Firefox browser. It can filter any kind of material (pornography, gambling, hacking, vulgarity, obscenity, etc.):
The ProCon content filter requires that you accept the End User License Agreement before the installation can proceed:
1. Accept and Install the Software 2. Download the software and then 3. Close and Restart the Firefox browser
ProCon content filter also has password protection in order to keep "others" from changing the settings. Be careful when setting up your password.
